Urban Legends Reference Page: Check out http://www.snopes.com before you pass around those weird, unbelievable stories. Break the Chain is another good site for this.
Annals of Improbable Results: This was intended to be the successor to the Journal of Irreproducible Results, the "Journal of results that cannot, or should not be reproduced." The JIR is still around.
Project Gutenburg: This is a project to create digital copies of old, public domain books.
