Lisa is showing us The Farfisa Compact. It has the Classic 'reedy' Farfisa sound. The model pictured here, a single manual "Compact" is the similar to the one Stereolab used on their recent North American tour. There Is also the dual manual "Compact Duo" which can be heard on such songs as "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun" by Pink Floyd, and many recordings by the "Inspiral Carpets". Some of these models feature a"knee level tone booster". After the intial success of the "Combo Compact" , the "Mini-Compact", and "Compact-Duo" were introduced. |
| Here Lisa is Showing us the "Compact Deluxe", Cadilac of Compacts, capable of a few more split functions, and a greater variety of timbres. | ![]() |
