Currently the FSO Warszawa is enjoying a revival in popularity in Poland. Why? The reason may lie in the fact that 254,471 of these cars were produced. Many of these can still be found in good condition, parts are inexpensive, and the composition is fairly basic and allows for easy repair. The car itself is not expensive. A well kept, original Warszawa costs around 10,000 zlotych (aprox. $2,500US), while a car in poor condition can be purchased for 1000-5000 zlotch ($250-1250US). The Warszawa was the first post-war production car produced in Poland. The body recieved many chrome features. The front and rear features large seats, which can fit 6 people. The vehicle is powered by a 50 horspower. Later the engines were improved. The first models reached speeds of 105km/h and burned 13-15 l/100km. The newer engines reached speeds of 115km/h, and consumed around 0,5-1L less per 100km. The engines have been known for their long life. Many cars drove over 600,000km, and a fair amound 1 million! These numbers were reached with proper care and regular maintenence. Warszawa M20
