Model railroaders are a community. Some of the things that hold us together are the shows, open houses, tours, meets and conventions listed here. We must temporarily hold off on those. Find other ways to connect online until things are better!

Many events are being cancelled or postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So far they include:

Expect more cancellations.
Current Ontario regulations prohibit gatherings of 10 or more (unless from the same household) with a few exceptions, and all facilities providing indoor recreational programs are closed. Strict rules apply in the GTA, Golden Horseshoe and Windsor/Essex areas than in the rest of the province.
Also, travel between Canada and the USA is restricted, with no non-essential travel allowed.

HO scale layout, 1600 sq. feet with 11 scale miles of mainline going through 10 towns depicting the way freight operations of the Canadian National Railway and the Canadian Pacific Railway as they were in Southern Ontario between the years of 1953 and 1957.
The main line runs between Toronto and London each with its own major yard and 3 industrial areas plus 8 towns in between.
Each completed town has a replica of its station as it stood in the 1950's along with accurate rolling stock of the time.

Come and see and to ride trains (as many times as you like!).
During this Run Day, FSME members will demonstrate their locomotives, explain how they work, and how they were built. They look forward to seeing you and chatting about your interests, your models, their models, their club, and the Model Engineering hobby. FSME members will be available to demonstrate their locomotives, answer questions, and offer lots of photo opportunities. Free train rides on the ground line trains may be offered at the discression of the engineer. No rides are offered on the highline track. Voluntary donations are greatly appreciated and are used for improvement and expansion of the track.
Likely six locomotives in operation split equally between steam power versus gas and battery electric.
1,200 feet of 7-1/4" gauge ground level track running through field and forest.
Also 435 feet of multi-gauge (3-1/2", 4-3/4", and 5" gauge) elevated track.

Please respect that this is a miniature railway and not a model railway.
Hazards are real and incidents can cause significant damage to people and property.
Please do not walk on or near the tracks, do not walk in the forest area of the facility and exercise caution when crossing tracks, particularly when driving over our two level crossings.
Steam locomotive boilers are generally very HOT as is steam, and locomotive safety valves can emit a scalding plume of steam at any time without prior notice.
Mufflers and exhausts on gasoline motors are also HOT.
Feel free to interact with locomotive owners and operators and to ask questions except when they are seriously occupied operating or maintaining their charge.

Steam locomotive boilers are generally very HOT as is steam, and locomotive safety valves can emit a scalding plume of steam at any time without prior notice.
Mufflers and exhausts on gasoline motors are also HOT.
Feel free to interact with locomotive owners and operators and to ask questions except when they are seriously occupied operating or maintaining their charge.
